Weather Policy
All appointments are rain or shine! If conditions are unsafe to be outside (due to extreme heat, cold, or lightning) I will still be there for the length of your dog’s visit but may substitute their walk for a potty break along with indoor play/training games. 
Special note for group hikes: In extreme heat, cold, or inclement weather, group hikes may be shortened for safety and supplemented with group play/training games at my home (at the normal rate). In situations where it is unsafe to be outside at all (thunderstorm, flooding, etc) you will be given as much notice as possible and have the option to cancel with no fee or replace with individual potty break/play time at your home (at my time-based rates).

Cancellation Policy
One week’s notice is required for boarding and pet sitting cancellations. Because I only board small numbers of dogs at a time, your deposit cannot be refunded if the stay is cancelled within one week of the agreed upon arrival/start date due to loss of business. Should you need to cancel a walk or other scheduled service, at least 24hrs notice is requested. Cancellations within 24hrs will result in a 50% charge of the service’s fee. No-shows or cancellations day-of service or the agreed upon boarding arrival date will result in a full charge. Exceptions may be made for snow resulting in school cancellations and in town-declared emergencies such as inclement weather at our discretion.

Boarding
A deposit totaling the first night’s board is required to reserve any boarding dates. Drop offs and Pick ups are made by appointment between the hours of 8am to 8pm. The standard boarding rate covers up to a 24hr period, and a day boarding fee will be added for dogs staying beyond their initial arrival time on the day of departure. Food and any medicine must be provided by the owner, I recommend packing a little extra just in case you need to extend their stay! Spare quality kibble is available for $2/cup should your dog run out.

Holiday Rates
A $5/night holiday fee applies for boarding during the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years; weekends of July 4th, Memorial Day, and Labor Day. A $5 charge applies to all other services falling on the holidays themselves.
